Nominations were made before the District Election Officer amid tight security

Voting is to be held in the first phase in Nawada Lok Sabha. On the last day of nomination on Thursday, there was a competition among the candidates who filed nomination papers.
Every candidate was seen claiming victory. A total of 17 candidates including NDA’s BJP candidate Vivek Thakur and Grand Alliance’s RJD candidate Shravan Kushwaha, RJD rebel candidate Vinod Yadav, brother of former minister Rajballabh Prasad and brother-in-law of Nawada’s RJD MLA Vibha Devi, and Bhojpuri film actor Gunjan Singh filed their nomination papers before District Election Officer Ashutosh Kumar Verma.
Apart from this, Sanjay Prasad from Bharat Corruption Mitaao Party, Chandan Kumar from Apna Kisan Party, Ramkripal Sharan from Lok Shakti Party, Independent Alok Kumar, Ranjit Kumar from BSP, Anand Kumar from Samta Moolak Sangram Dal, Anand Kumar Verma from Bharat Jan Jagran Dal, Gautam Kumar Bablu from Bhagidari Party, Dr. Ganori Pandit from PPID,
Independent Murari Kumar, Independent Damodar Kushwaha, Shashi Bhushan Kumar from Rashtriya Jan Sambhavna Party and Mo Mokim Uddin from Samaj Shakti Party filed their nomination papers. It is worth noting that a total of 20 people from Nawada Lok Sabha constituency had got the NR receipt cut, out of which three people including Dr. Sahajanand Prasad Singh and Vikas Kumar did not file nomination.
Many big leaders participated in the nomination of party candidates
Many state leaders including RJD chief spokesperson and former MLA Shakti Singh Yadav, former Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary, Munger Lok Sabha RJD candidate Anita Kumari’s husband Ashok Mahato and Grand Alliance’s Hisua Assembly Congress MLA Neetu Kumari were present in the nomination of RJD candidate Shravan Kushwaha.
At the same time, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, Warisliganj Assembly’s BJP MLA Aruna Devi were present at the nomination of NDA’s BJP candidate Vivek Thakur, while MP Ramkripal Yadav, MLC Neeraj Kumar, former MLA Anil Singh and former MLA Kanhaiya Rajvanshi along with others were present in the public meeting held in SKM College after the nomination of Vivek Thakur.
At the same time, at the nomination of independent candidate Vinod Yadav, many local leaders including Rajauli MLA Prakashvir, MLC Ashok Yadav and District Council President Pushpa Kumari were present.
Apart from this, YouTuber Manish Kashyap was present at the nomination of independent candidate Bhojpuri artist Gunjan Singh.
